why i should stay in ntuband
1) responsibility as pnp; i'll feel very irresponsible if i leave. who's gonna take over me if i leave?

2) bandmates will be disappointed in me, especially my section-mates & the exco members.

3) a chance to pursue musical excellence twice a week; can improve in my playing

4) netherlands.

5) who knows? maybe i'll find close friends in band over the years?


why i shouldn't stay in ntuband
1) ADM saps away too much of my energy every week. by the time i go for band, i'll be too tired already. but unlike band, ADM stuffs are compulsory.. it's my education and i can't abandon it.

2) i want to be more committed in church; the kingdom of God is way more important than any thing else.

3) i could use the band prac time to do my work, so that i don't have to work till late all the time. I ALWAYS HAVE NOT ENOUGH TIME TO FINISH MY WORK SIAN.

4) i have choir prac on fri nights; but because of band prac on sat, i'm forced to return back to hall for an extra day. it's quite lonely sometimes. and the fact that there's prac the next morning makes it almost impossible to get much work done. if no ntuband, i can go home right after choir!

5) i want to join saints alumni band; it's on sat nights & the location's near my house. lugging my instrument all the way to potong pasir won't be that much of a problem. and and, i want to join because of friends there. and in sajcband, i learnt that it's important that you play the music for the people you love.

6) i can keep my instrument at home! (: next time if not staying hall, do i have to lug my instrument all the way to ntu every week? damn heavy please.

7) i want to keep up with my sax lessons with jefferson. it's gonna be real tough if i always keep the instrument in hall due to ntuband.

8) i don't feel at home in ntuband; don't feel close with anyone. actually if there're people i love in the band, all of the above won't really matter that much to me. you know what i mean.

9) basically i just don't feel happy staying in ntuband.
